Building Organizational Self-Awareness
Humans decide things for their neighborhood. Each agent is making decisions locally. What kind of global features emerge from those local decisions is not trivial to predict.
This approach flips that on its head, where we also assess what kind of mesoscale structure we want the organization to have, and then inform our local decisions from there. Perhaps, in the future, universities and research institutes can integrate this mesoscale approach along with local and departmental decisions.
IISERs are considered institutions of national importance. They are vital for India, promoting excellence in science education and research, fostering innovation, producing skilled scientists, and contributing to national development.
